  • how is it compared to the normal T7? Is it just more durable?

    • +1

      Yeah and IP65 rated.

    • +5

It's not just durability, the SSD has also been slightly improved compared to the regular T7.

  • Will this work well to connect to a Xbox series S to increase storage? thanks

  • Suppose with the 10% off and 10% cash rewards Bing lee will be a similar price

  • I've been looking for external storage for a ps5 to store PS4 games. Is this really worth the extra or just grab a 2tb hdd from Amazon?

Seagate 2TB Expansion Portable HDD https://amzn.asia/d/iO4iZOU

    • HDD is like 1/10 the speed of SSD though

      • Agreed, but does it matter for loading PS4 games?

        • Yes, the SSD will be slightly faster. Using a T7 with a PS4 is total overkill though.

          • @fastnet: What about for PC games as an external drive?

            • @SnoopX: It would be a great choice for that purpose.

  • heads up. t7s are slow af when you have them about 70-80% full.

    • +2

So are the T5s. I partition that I had setup as a Time Machine takes forever to mount on macOS Ventura as it is almost 90% full.

      • +1

personally, i found my t5 was much better performing in comparison.

  • It shows $388, has the price jumped back?

    • Try Binglee, it comes down to $229 now
