Australian Open Ground Pass Availability during The Event

I am looking at attending the Australian Open next year as a Ground Pass visitor.
I am looking at going on a weekday (preferably week 2) to avoid the weekend rush.
Does anyone have any prior experience on how many ground pass tickets are on sale and do they sell out easily or almost always easily available.

PS: Notsure if it should be in the Sports Forum or Travel

Weekday is usally easily available, I used to go every year and just buy tickets on the day (pre-covid). Remember there's very little on week 2 though, there are no matches in the John Cain arena. Thus why they're $19 instead of $69.

First saturday usually sells out of ground passes, that's the only day I've ever heard of being difficult to get.

    • hmm.. Yeah didn't think about John Cain Week 2 thing… thanks.
Apart from that the Shops and stalls in Precint, do they start to wrap up after Week 1 Sunday or there is still a little buzz?

I’d wait until they release the schedule and see what’s actually on. I went to a final 5-6 years ago and it was pretty dead, but there was a lot less on back then in terms of other entertainment.

Might even be better just watching a game on the screen at fed square

    • Turns out it was early bird pricing, today on they are $75 and $29 respectively.. Missed a bargain :D
