ubank Save Account - No Transaction Record

Just transferred an amount over to hit the bonus interest requirement for the new month, but there's no record of it registering in my Ubank account, in neither the app or the web browser.
The money is there, my total amount has gone up by the correct figure in my Ubank account thankfully, but there's just no record or transaction history of it at all, nor has it been recognized for the sake of the bonus interest triggering.

Anyone else had this happen?
Should I maybe just transfer the money back to my initial account and 'try again'? :/

I think they were having issues with their app yesterday. Have you tried contacting them?

I’m really not a fan of their new app, the legacy app was no frills and did the job well.

  • Have had the same thing happen this morning.

I transferred money out and between accounts, although there is no record showing the transaction, the money has been moved

    • Hmm. Maybe I'll try moving back and forth tomorrow again and then try to contact them. Kind of annoying.

  • Also no record on my end.

  • This might be a silly question but you did make sure you were transferring to the updated BSB and Account Numbers right?

Not a silly question. Answer in my case is yes.

    • Just saw the other thread. I'm a relatively new ubank user who has only had this new version of the app and one account number

Ah ok thought you might have been legacy and didn’t update your BSB and Account Numbers.

I’ve had a couple of issues with slow transactions not appearing right away after being moved to the new app. It all worked out after a few days though.. hopefully that’s the case with yourself and others having issues in this thread.

It has also affected some other Whirpool users; and when called up there's a message saying ubank are working on rectifying the issue

    • Ah thanks for that!
Good to know it's atleast widespread enough for them to be looking into ASAP.

  • This is a regular reoccurring issue according to old 86400 members.

Apparently it happens every few months and it automatically resolves itself because of delays in their system.

    • Damn, I guess the best bet going forward is to wait until the ~3rd or so of every month before making a transfer for the bonus interest then?

You can just continue using the account, over the next day or two the transaction history will automatically appear.

There is no point calling them about it. Your balance is correct.

  • Same issue this morning.

  • How long did you wait? Sometimes it does that. Just wait a few hours and it will be fine.

    • Been about 4-5hrs now. I'll just wait for tomorrow and keep following that linked whirlpool thread also. Looks like a problem on their end.

I just transferred from my ANZ to Ubank a few hours ago by Osko and it's not showing up at all in the total 🤔 hopefully it's not a bad sign that they are having issues 😮‍💨

  • I've gone elsewhere.
My transactions keep disappearing online. Beware, something is going on.
Oh and don't bother calling them unless you have lots of time to waste. Wait times are about 1.5 hours if you don't get bumped.

Ooh they all popped up when checking just now retroactively. Bonus is applied
Got a bunch of little $1 ones showing now that I was testing throughout the day :P

    • My money has shown as entered in the account but my total is still the same, and I didn't get a notification. App being super buggy today

      • Damn =(
I did notice my final transaction after it had been fixed on my end did take about 15 minutes before the notification appeared, instead of it being instant like usual.
Must still be working on it.

  • Had the same issue today and no text message to say the money had been deposited into my ubank account.

    1. Ask the Fiscal Institution in the first instance.
    2. Advise us of the outcome, share the good or bad news.
    3. We shall all sigh with relief or frown with disdain.
    4. Then we thank you with many ++++ for your contribution.
  • Starting to think after all these comments they shouldn’t have acquired 86400.

I don’t like 86400’s branding and the app is quite overrated. UBank is supposed to be about no frills, simple banking.
