I am currently 17 and am turning 18 at the end of this year. I am currently with commbank with their youthsavers account. After I turn 18, I will need to switch to another account.
I was looking for suggestions on which bank or which type of account to switch to. I currently have around 8.5k and plan to get a job soon. I don't think i will be making an large transactions in the near future as I will also be starting uni next year.
Have you ever thought about looking at an ethical bank, one run for the people, by the people? Doesn't invest in Fossil Fuel industries, Weapons industries etc? I highly recommend Bank Australia.

Simply look for the account paying the highest interest rate with an attached transaction account.
