Best Wireless Headset around $200

Hey guys!

I’m after a decent wireless headset for around $200. I’m already in the Razer ecosystem but not sure they’re the best options for the price. Would prefer to get something Razer if possible unless there’s a much better deal.
Thoughts and suggestions please!

  • What's the use case(s)?

    • Gaming/music/general use

I've got the Bose QC (whatever the model number is). I'm not into gaming, but can't fault it for the other purposes you've mentioned. Price point is a bit above your budget though.

I've also got the Trekz Air (which is more at your price point) for general purpose and exercise-based uses. Not an "audiophile" product though.

I can't fault either of these products for the use cases I have for them.

        • Thanks a lot for the input. I’ll have a look at them!

        • which one more comfortable for long hours use ?

@dcep: I would suggest the Trekz as the style honestly feels like you're not wearing them, but I've worn both for several hours straight with no issue.

  • You just missed this deal. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/739917

But it's still available for $258 without any code. Which I think is still a good price considering the previous best price was $319 before.

This headset doesn't work well with consoles though feedback says the volume is too low and can't be heard properly. Also feedback says the 2.4G with USB dongle reception isn't great, so you can't walk around and out of your room and keep listening.

    • Hmmm this one looked nice but the console thing would be a problem

  • What console?

    • Series X but also pc

      • Makes it a bit harder. I’m looking for something that’s wireless and compatible with Xbox and pc as well.

Only one I can find that does everything and isn’t too expensive is the Arctic Nova 7x but they are $350.

If you’re happy to plug in to your controller and be wireless on PC I’m a fan of the HyperX Cloud II or Alphas. They have released a new Xbox compatible one (CloudX) but it’s moved away from the metal construction of the current clouds and reports are the build quality is a bit subpar. I used to have the wired alpha and it was great

  • Please dont get razer headphones. they sound like trash!!!!
i use wired heaphones now but i have had wireless in the past and hyperx was my favorite.
i still like the sound and comfort of them today.

    • Lol I ended up getting the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro for a great price. So far it’s really comfortable and sounds awesome!
