Oranjeboom now that brings back memories or rather lack of memory

It is statewide, Bentleigh is out of stock and there’s a couple at Fountain Gate. Not sure what it tastes like but that’s a great find for a learner OP. I’d be tempted to go and score one but Guns n Roses are beckoning.

what timing given the dutch play tonight

I like a drop of this - reminds me of Thu nights (official start of the weekend) at De Hems bar in that there London Town, where they had it on tap

Famous for giving you a terrible headache the next day

    • Yep, absolutely rotten.

I've never had this before, was gonna try 1 or 24 but couldn't see any in Ashburton, unfortunately

Oranjeboom, my dad used to get these back in India when he was sailing on ships. I used to sneak 1 or 2 from the fridge😂

  • Only showing up as $97 a slab on the website.

What a day to be alive

  • None sighted at First Choice in South Morang Westfield. You can use the website to see which stores have them in stock with Click and Collect. Obviously, don't buy them via the website, but at least if you make a trip to a store, you can see if there's a chance there's some stock.

  • No stock in Ringwood vic

How long after expiry they stay good to consume?

    • +4

They are not good to consume from day one.

      • And after best before?

        • It's just a date printed on the can. Might be excellent, might be sh!t. Pay your money, take your chances :)

    • It's a best before date. I wouldn't leave it more than 6 months past expiry. Cans will happily last longer, all depends on storage with beer as well

  • Grabbed two cases, Flemo is my local. Thanks OP 👌

    • Were many left?

      • Two left after the two I nabbed. They might have more out the back though.

  • Picked up the last one at fountain Gate, thanks for the deal.

  • All gone at Flemington

  • none at Redcliffe, QLD

    • Are there any in Qld ?

If an 8.5% ABV lager is not to your liking, Dan's has Oranjeboom Dutch lager with 12% ABV available for delivery.

Yeesh…that’s moving away from ‘beer’ and approaching ‘barley wine’.
