Pretty much an automated subscription that will send out new stock after a certain period i.e. 1 month, 2 months 6 months etc.

But you can cancel the subscription after you receive your order.

@DarkSide: You need to have Prime to be able to S & S.

Most daily / house hold items that you regular use will have the option to select S & S when you check out.

            • @SpeedRunnerLink: greatly appreciate all repsonses

            • @SpeedRunnerLink:

You need to have Prime to be able to S & S.

Prime not required. Same as one-time purchases in that you just have to pay for shipping if your order is under $39.

How much better is liquid compared to powder? Also do you get the same number of washes as 2KG powder? Thanks.

Also do you get the same number of washes as 2KG powder?

Honestly, what if you get less? It's like you'd be losing a few dollars for a better product, can't be THAT important

      • I dont mind getting fewer washes, hence my first question. I didnt neg you though. OZB members not happy with anything that says less/few I guess ;)

OK, did some quick reading. Powders are a lil harsh on cloths but much better at removing dirt and stains, while liquids are a lil better for environment but then they come in plastic bottles. No wonder powders are more popular as they are cheaper as well.

        • I also took a look at the packaging over the webs for you and the liquid says 40 washes and the powder says 30 washes.

From my experience powder - like capsules - can also happen to stuck to one spot for too long on the clothes and decolour there. But perhaps they solved that issue over the last ~10 years.

          • @pizzaguy: Ah nice. Thanks. Do you use a top loader? Because in front loader the powder/liquid is taken out by water getting mixed in the soap compartment - atleast as long as the water flows in fast. If the water flows in slowly what you say can happen.

            • @John Doh: Whay if we pre-dissolve all the powder and turn then into liquid… then use an appropraite amount each time we wash… wonder if that'll work.

              • @jecec: It'll probably work but sounds like a massive headache everytime you want to wash something.

                • @butter: Mix the whole box of powder together in a 4L omo container at once?

            • @John Doh: Front loader. It happened to me many front loaders ago.

    • I've always been a powder man until recently, a local washing machine repairman told me the powder isn't great for the machine pumps. My water pump had just given way at the time. I use liquid now but I hate the plastic waste of the bottle.

      • I guess that isnt much of an issue. In fact these top quality powders are endorsed by washing machine companies and for most washing machine wash quality comparision they use powders.

  • Same price at my Coles this week.
