eSIM on Corporate Account

Hi all:

Anyone have luck transferring their business account (Telstra) to an esim. I asked work, as I'm on corporate billing, but they couldn't be arsed.

Would be a real bonus to go to esim for travel etc.

If you've had luck, can you guide? The mytesltra app doesn't have the transfer options, I guess as I'm not the registered account holder. I can only view usage etc.

Many thanks

if you are Telstra Enterprise, eSIM will work but "it's not supported" we are told. It does work though but as soon as you have an issue back to getting physical sim. They will be fully supported very shortly though.

Note for Telstra Business they are supported.

    • Do you know if it's simply an over the phone job, or is it IT dep't that are meant to do this?

      • Probably need to be authorised on thr account to transfer to esim

eSim for Telstra business account can be obtained but you will need the account's authoriser to do it.

    • Thanks Trex… Now to navigate the bureaucrats…

  • Can't you use eSim for personal account and the use a physical sim for your work line? So you can use the one handset?

    • i think they want the ability to use physical for quick sim swaps overseas (esp where esim not adopted)
OP must be travelling o/s for business to want this though, otherwise if flying recreationally may as well remove the work sim and enjoy the holiday

    • As work picked up my main acct, i went to boost for personal. No esim there :(

But yep, with travel i get local sims to avoid work issues.
