Cheapest Option to Buy Nintendo Switch OLED Now/before Xmas?

Hi guys,

Like most of us I was quite disappointed with the lack of BF deals for the Nintendo Switch OLED.

I was tempted to go for the $379 deal with MK8, but since I intend to play it in hand-held mode a fair bit, I want the OLED model.

That being said, is anyone aware of any upcoming deals before Christmas?

Even if not, what would be the cheapest way to buy one now?

In true ozb style, happy to jump through a couple hoops of course, like getting discounted gift cards or signing up to something for xx% off, etc.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Q: Cheapest Option to Buy Nintendo Switch OLED
A: check OZB every 5 mins, no need to post ask

Doing that anyway. Getting deal alerts. But sometimes store reps know ahead of time and are happy to share info.

So if you've got nothing useful to contribute, no need to comment.

Even better set up an alert.

    Some active deals here.

One month eBay plus is $4.99, if you don't already have it, or aren't eligible for a free trial.

not sure if this works. Hopefully someone can confirm.

Amazon have OLED switch for $449. Using this price is it possible to buy from the good guys valued at $539

Then apple the concierge service :
When you add Gold Service Extras to your product purchase, you get the added benefit of Concierge 30 Day Price Guarantee. With Concierge 30 Day Price Guarantee - if you notice that the price of your product has dropped at The Good Guys or an approved competitor by more than $5 within 30 days of purchase, we’ll give you back 120% of the difference as a store credit.

Then use the store credit to load up on games you would otherwise of bought as you will have $108 to spend on games/accessories.

I saw that amazon isnt listed in the approved list so probably have to call them to ask

    Approved Competitors

    Appliances Online
    Big W
    Bing Lee
    David Jones
    Harvey Norman
    JB HiFi
    Joyce Mayne
    Myer
    Officeworks
    Retravision
    Target

My question is has anyone used TGG price beat service before on an amazon purchase

    • This is ozb thinking right there haha!

So essentially, assuming they'd approve the Amazon deal, you'd be getting the Switch for $431.

I'd definitely want a couple games, so $108 would be about right.

Ill keep this one in mind, thank you!

  • It would only be worth trying if you have concierge service already. As it costs $100 to get

    • Didn't realise that. Thta's' out then.

      • Either until I dug into the prospect further

    Literally just did this.

Made a post for those keen with links and steps

  • Thanks @laprasthepokemon and @Scabboy! Really appreciate the effort! Would have definitely done that.

I just got lucky on Gumtree today though. Someone was selling a brand new white Switch, an unwanted raffle win I was told, for $350. Couldn't resist.

Just picked it up. Works perfectly but no receipt. Here is to hoping I don't need to make use of the warranty…

  • Tbh…it's the not cost of the unit, it's the damn games that will set you back 🤣 only buy games on sale

    • Or go the Homebrew/custom firmware option
