Damn i was gonna to do some Chicks At The Flicks (giggity)

      • So basically:
"For Marvel and everything else Chris Pratt is in"

    • So following that link you don't actually have to be a telstra customer?

      • That seems to be the case…

I'm not a member and I can add to cart (and presumably checkout) without any verification

      • Correct

    • Direct link for village?

    • Thanks

great deal op! just a reminder if you have any expired tickets, you can contact them and ask for replacements!

    • Since when? I had some expired during lockdowns.

      • ages ago (several years back?) but picked up again due to covid lockdowns and stuff

    • really?

      • yup got some of mine replaced to use. need to find the stack of of 10 that I bought several years ago to do it again

        • is this for reall.. i have my ticket expired.. but I bought it in event cinemas for 9.50.. I have two of them expired.. still regret up until now

    • -5

    • +14

Ant Man 3, Cocaine Bear, Scream 6, Shazam 2, John Wick 4, Champions, Creed 3, Dungeons and Dragons, Heart of a Lion, A thousand and one, Mario Brothers, Evil Dead Rise, Guardians 3, Fast X, Little Mermaid, Across the Spider-Verse, Transformers, Flash, Renfield, Sweetwater.

There's something for everyone coming up!

      • +4

        Adding to the list.
Babylon - a new movie from the director of Whiplash and LaLa Land.

      • oooh so many movies to check out!

      • Cocaine Bear looks so bad that it’ll be so good

    • Avator 2, obviously

  • +1

Do you still have to pay billing fee when using these?

    • +2

Booking fee? Usually yes, when done online and No if you use the voucher in person.

    • I bought vouchers a long time ago similar to this.
When you book and try to redeem online, it asks you to pay $1 or $2/person (could be more now)

Looking at the conditions, seems only cannot redeem on Saturday after 5pm, meaning it can redeem any days including Sunday anytime?

    • Just means Saturday night you can't redeem it (because it's so busy then).

      • +1

I stopped going to cinemas on Sat nights when I turned 18, perfect for me

  • +3

Not valid for use in ACT, Victoria or Tasmania…..

  • -5

yeah I would rather own my movies and tv shows on itunes.

  • -1

Cant purchase tickets in ACT hoyts

    • +2

That would be because Hoyts is not Event nor Village…

  • Is there a way to pay for vouchers using events giftcard? I have $50 to use by end of this month and can't spend on any movies at this stage

    • Not for this offer, I have heard in the past people successfully using gift cards to buy vouchers from the box office. But it is against the gift card terms.

      • Thanks for sharing! worth trying it. I'll walk to the cinema this weekend and see if I can buy vouchers.

  • -1

    I thought vouchers must have 3yr expiry…
    6mth is pretty shit.

    • Not really, it’s fairly standard for discounted cinema vouchers.

Full priced gift cards must have 3 year expiry under various state laws but discounted vouchers are an exclusion.

  • Physical ones, are they 5 separate (5 stocking stuffers) or 1 use 5 times?

  • +1

Can anyone post the direct link for Village ?

  • if only it was hoyts…

    • +1

Agree! Can't understand why they haven't made the decision to change their seating to reclining like Hoyts!

      • yep I wont even go free for events anymore, once you try recliners you cant go back.

  • I have purchased some but cannot seem to get them to work online at the eventcinema webpage … does anybody know if there is a start date that you can use them from ??? i know it says offer available till 24th december …so maybe thats when you can redeem them from ?

    • Just in case you tried within first hour. "Please allow up to 1 hour for eVouchers to become activated prior to redemption."

      • Ita been alot longer than that…7 or 8 havent tried them since

        • Have you successfully redeemed them? I bought them earlier tonight but it keeps saying voucher is invalid.

  • Can we upgrade to Vmax/3D? And how much for the surcharge?

    • "Vouchers may be upgraded to a V-Max or 3D session at the time of redemption (additional fees apply)."

      • And how much is it?

        • +1

As per the same as the normal VMAX/3D surcharge for your cinema (it varies)

$5 is the maximum I have seen for VMax (others $3).

          • @JordanM: So for Avatar which is 3D + Vmax, it would be $8?

            • @hawkeye93: Generally speaking yes, but your cinema may have a different surcharge amount.

  • i always get confused with the T&Cs on these… Can we use these for movies marked NFT (No Free Tickets?)???

    • Yes they can. NFT designation is mostly important for Cinebuzz Points redemption use.

  • Thanks OP bought 5
