$1 dollar saved is a lot of money!! Be a man.. do da right ting!!!

This is an under rated game.. its awesome

Great game but I strongly encourage a house rule that the deal breaker steals a single property from a complete set rather than the whole set - otherwise it's too overpowered.

Another good rule is that you can only count one two-property set towards your win.

      • deal breaker steals a single property from a complete set rather than the whole set - otherwise it's too overpowered.

You’ve been burned without a blocking card too many times, eh ;)

Haha good times. Need to find and dust off our pack, haven’t played this in ages

No way. Running the gauntlet putting out sets without holding a “just say no” knowing there’s deal breakers still alive. Greatest card game that doesn’t involve betting

How do you play the Double Rent card? Is the sequence:

        1. Place a Rent card down (one turn). Get paid the rent amount (or more)
        2. Place the Double Rent card down (another turn). Get paid the same rent (or more)

        Or

        1. Place a Rent card down and the Double the Rent card down together? (two turns but need to be played together)

In this situation, does the Just Say No block one or both cards?

      • Nah Deal Breaker should stay, everyone loves games where there's a chance to turn it around at the last moment. Not every game is a slow accumulation of the right moves.

        • Obviously just my opinion (and others in forums) and I'm happy for people to disagree, but I find deal breaker crushes the weaker players rather than restores the balance.

    • Buy first and think later.
50+ vote is a must buy regardless of its use

    • Bought this based on your comment alone and the kids have been playing it and laughing for an hour. Thanks!

  • This is much funner than OG Monopoly. Much quicker to play too!

Gotta get the Hong kong edition. 20 extra cards.

      Deal el Lomo Mono

    • Any deal on HK edition?

    • can't seem to find the hong kong edition with 20 extra cards on the web, only found two VIC eBay sellers with the standard hong kong edition, any links? thank you

Also available at Woolworths for the same price.

  • 10/10 can recommend

  • Thanks OP, a good stocking filler for the kiddos.

    Great game and worth $4.

Also side note. Can’t believe EB games sells this for $15 at my local, even though it’s only $10 on their website (which is still twice the price of everywhere else).

    • If it’s $10 on the website, it’s $10 in the store. They probably never updated the sticker. They‘d price match woolies anyway

    Deal Breaker!

  • This is an excellent game. Definitely worth buying. A good compromise to play the card game instead of getting dragged into a long monopoly board game.

  • Picked this one up, cheers.

  • Many a night playing this in a field hut, 10/10!!

Love this game, but this version’s design is so hard to play with. The version that comes in the Red box is so much easier to play. FYI they sell cheap fake versions (albeit close enough to the original) at Vic Market in Melbourne for around the same price.

  • Wish it was the HK edition that has the extra cards in it!

  • Definitely a decent game! Well worth everyone having a set of this at that price.

  • No deal

  • Oos?

    • Just ordered fine.

      • Thanks, wasn't working on the app for some reason.

  • Love this game, quick 5-10 minute game and easy to learn

  • What happens if someone pays me in house / hotel cards, but I don't have anywhere to put them down if I don't have a complete set. WHERE DOES THE CARD GO?!

    • It's the equivalent as cash for the rest of the game

    • Cash

  • Couldn't pass this up at 20% off. That dollar is getting framed.

  • My kids are always avoiding creating sets because they are afraid of dealbreakers. For example, have 2 green properties in one column and another 1 green sitting in a separate column set by itself.

Do you guys allow this in your games as well?

there are more sly and forced deals in the deck than deal breakers. for a true set of 3 its probably worth running the gauntlet with this but with a wild you are almost guaranteed to lose it.

  • I don't even know what the hell this is, but it'll be on my door step tomorrow morning. Thanks op!

    • Do you need a monopoly newbie friend ?

  • Was going to buy it, but Amazon reminded me that I bought this on 22/11/2021 for $3.49. Went to look for it and it's not even opened…
