    Bosch for sure!

None are made in Germany though, all Poland for their heat pumps but they are very highly reviewed and you should be able to pick up an 8kg around $1000-1200 on sale.

This model is currently $1389 from TGG with their price beat. If you go to Coles, you could grab 14 x $100 HOME giftcards at 15% off to use and go in store, get them to price match. That will bring total price to $1180 or so which is pretty close to all time low anyways from previous sales.

    • sorry Toshjammi, I dunt have enough experience with coles gift cards.
I can get them from coles with a 15% discount THEN will go to TGG, what will TGG price match with?

Correct. Until 13 Dec coles have 15% of a select range of giftcards. See the OzB post for more info. Buy them at 15% off and then go to TGG to buy in store. Just bring up the TGG website and use their best price button and they will price match that.

I've had a F&P heat pump for 18months, and its a great unit. Havent bothered to plumb it in - just drain it manually whilst removing the lint filter.

Important to note that there is a 3rd filter (water/lint & this other one) that does need cleaning regularly as it will clog up and seriously impact the performance of a heat pump dryer. I didnt realise it existed, and after about 12months of use, it was taking AGES to dry clothes if at all properly - once I cleaned this 3rd filter (do it maybe once a month now), it started working good as new.
