Wow the deals are getting better! Hopefully it's not another tell-tale sign of underlying issues…

      deals are getting better

      I’d say $15 off a $20 order (75% off) is definitely between than $10 off a $15 order (66% off)

      Great deals nonetheless.

If you don't buy a gift card, they'll be ok :)

They get service fee (maybe just Uber), the prices are almost 1.5 compared to restaurant prices and there is delivery. These discounts and cashbacks basically bringing them to a normal price if you are lucky.

    • Nah it’s still cheaper and it’s delivered. Perfect for Sunday

      • You shall enjoy it then :)

        • I got two kebabs with extras for $16 delivered using previous deal. Can’t see any place selling a $8 kebab with extras.

          • @Pricebeat: You seem very happy about the kebabs :)

Maybe it is my selection of food, I tried Hungry Jack's once and a pizza place close to my house. All disappointed price wise.

Something wrong with the app. Anyone experiencing?

  • Is there a reason why the latest Menulog deals are card only? Are they cross-promoting with banks or something?

    • +1

It could be something to with paying the restaurants since Menulog would be eating the cost of the voucher.

    • It just means no cash payments, likely that could be abused. You can still pay with Paypal too.

Having said that, you can't do cash payments with delivery orders anyway.

      • I don't see why not if it's delivered by restaurant? The establishment may accept cash payments upon delivery?

        • +1

Could it be that the restaurant owners could just process payments and make profit out of it?

No card payment, no proof of payment happening and no payment fee for restaurant.

Well, the code worked but Menulog can't seem to find a driver for my order and it's been about 20 minutes now.

EDIT: Almost an hour now so uh, I guess I'll cancel it.

    • 2 hours for me, no response from restaurant, had to contact menulog support and cancel

  • Surely they must be going out of business soon.. I can't imagine how much money they must be losing from these recent deals.

    • They just need rich investors to keep giving them money and they can last for years.

  • You can stack with restaurant promos too. Just got a meal delivered for less than eating it there 😊

  • Bonza, $10 red rooster 3 piece satisfrier. Cheers OP. 👍
