      if you are willing to pay $80 …..you are entering the generic brand remote probes e.g meatier copy format …..check amazon ….they had one a blue tooth probe for $76 a while back …….

      I have one of these and it's pretty good. At the end of the day it's a simple enough function. Display is easy to read, it's USB-C charging and something I didn't know when buying is that it's magnetic so it lives on the fridge.

    This might sound like a stupid question - but is this 'instant thermometer' actually instant? I bought a slightly cheaper one a while back, and while it certainly displays a temperature instantly, it takes a full minute to slowly count up to the actual, accurate reading. Does this one give at least a decent ballpark guess very quickly? Or does it also display something useless until it figures out the right reading over the course of a minute or two?
