is it worth converting my qantas points to gift cards or i should just use it to book flights ( if i ever travel again)
Can someone more experience than me here advise? i never actually calculate what these qantas points actually worth.

Anything from 0.5c/pp to 10c/pp depending on who is doing the calculations.

It's all nominal values based on personal preference. 1c/pp is a realistic baseline
its not a lot by FIFO worker standard, but its a lot for me. I have 130000 points
Look at classic reward flights for best value
Woolworths rewards is an easy way to avoid points expiry. Also their health app..

Since you are saying you won't ever travel, then redeeming anything other than flights will be of better value by default - just stating the obvious.
not like ever, im just exaggerating, i used to travel a lot hence the points, just that I havent done any in last 3 years and will again someday but not as often. Im just worried about the expiration
I am in the same boat, better off just waiting for the day you do travel.
Even if it means flying to Chile,Barbados, or Zambia (ones that seem cheap) for lunch one day just for the sake of it
