    Maybe to clarify, those are to make call, and send sms

    To receive call and sms, are free when you are connected to wifi overseas (and enable wifi call on your phone. Also free if your phone support)

      I second this. Wifi calling and texting is great, works anywhere in the world.

      If you receive a call and it uses the roaming network it comes out of your minutes.

      Aren't Telstra and Vodafone overseas roaming rates five dollars a day? 40 dollars for two weeks ($2.86 day) roaming seems at least adequate to me.

        Don't know, but my 500gb $65 Optus plan includes roaming with 10gb data & unlimited calls and texts all the time.
