Cheap PC with Good Power (No Graphics Card Needed)

I'm looking for a cheap PC. Doesn't need to have any fancy graphics card. I will only be using it for Google chrome. As long as it can handle a good few instances of chrome i'm happy.

Any recommendations? I'm guessing I'll need a good processor and lots of Ram

An old office PC would be good enough for just browsing. 8GB of RAM is probably sufficient but 16GB if you’re worried it won’t be enough

Edit: This is under $100 after applying 15% off coupon

    Dell Optiplex 7060
    HP ProDesk 600 G4
    Lenovo ThinkCentre M920q

Usually priced at or under $300 and usually specced with 2018-era Intel Coffee Lake (Core i5 8500)and it's the bare minimum if you want to run Windows 11 with official support.

    For sub $200

    Dell OptiPlex 3050 / 7050
    HP Prodesk 600 G3

These will have older Intel processors (2015~2016 era) and technically won't be supported by W11, but at least it's a $100 cheaper.

Make sure you get 128GB of RAM

  • AMD 5600G
    Cheap B550 mobo
    32 GB RAM
    and done :P

    • to build it?

      • No idea, my post reflected the degree of detail in your original post, if you can't be bothered with specifics I won't either (ie zero details regarding new build vs pre-built vs refurb vs secondhand, etc etc) ;)

Built it if competent, use it as a guide for a pre-built otherwise or just get one of the old and low memory refurbs above!
