For those in need of contacts, seems like Specsavers has a glitch with this coupon code which is working on any order with no min spend.

Orders under $79 will incur a $4.95 delivery fee. This still works out cheaper than the other current coupon codes. For example:

Limit of 1 code redemption per customer, so if you need multiple boxes, best to do guest checkout multiple times

  • Nice thank you, worked on some Air Optix Night & Day Aqua's

  • +11

This is more expensive than other websites even with the discount

    Try https://www.mycontactlens.com.au/ instead

Cheaper and express post delivery within 3 days of ordering.

    • Focus Dailies 30 is same price. Plus Specsavers allow you pay directly thru Hicaps with your benefit, the other place issues an invoice that you then need to use for a manual health fund claim… that's not worth the $2 difference to me.

    • Air optix night and day $4 more expensive at your website even before the specsavers discount.

      Any other bright ideas champ?

  • Thanks op :))

Awesome. Had $100 optical benefit left. Bought 4 boxes of contacts for $115, free delivery, paid with Medipass which is Hicaps, confirmed benefit with health fund, used that to pay, pamount due $0!

Once you tried Dailies Total 1 you can’t go back…

    • Are they better than Acuvue

      • +1

I always found Acuvue Moist to be too flimsy

        • +3

I was suggested to move from Acuvue Moist to Acuvue Oasys. More expensive but optometrist said it should reduce my eyes drying out as much. Gave me a week trial and I found they were better. They were slightly thicker too.

    • +1

I dunno man, they didn't really do that much for me. Ended up going back to Acuvue as they felt a lot more easy on my eyeballs

  • I was hoping that Specsavers what do a no gap on all frames with medibank.

    • +1

I just got a couple of pairs that were selling at $249 for no gap with medibank.

    • -2

I just get the $39 pairs now, much cheaper than extras cover.

      • Limited styles and no UV400 offered

General advice which might save someone from an infection:

    • do NOT rinse your contacts under tap water
    • do NOT swim or fly with your contacts in
    • do NOT wear your contacts overnight
    • All good advice, but I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and never had an eye infection despite wearing my contacts overnight often, never taking them out when flying or swimming (which I do very often), and even on dozens of occasions over the years rinsing them under tap water when I had no other option. I definitely wouldn't store them in tap water though

All the things you've mentioned substantially increase your risk of keratitis. Just because you haven't had an infection in 20 years, it doesn't mean you won't develop one.

It's simple hygiene stuff that is very easy to follow. Keratitis can be very nasty, i wouldn't be taking these risks if I were you.

Tip my hat to you for the advices but man…swimming/diving was one of the reasons why I wear contacts…

      • Swimming is fine, if you wear goggles. I surf with my contacts in as well and it's fine.

  • Can someone recommend good multifocal lenses? Ones I tried almost zero presbyopia correction.

    • Have you tried asking your optometrist to suggest a few options? They should be able to get some for you to try for free.

      Zeiss lenses

  • For those in need of contacts,

All those OzBargainers who can't read titles 😜

  • Thanks OP. I made it work. I tried first to make a subscription order to use the code and get free delivery which didn’t work. So this code does not work on any order. It still turned out cheaper skipping the subscription.

  • Thanks for this.
Shopback has a code on their website, but it does not work…

  • Hmm - It only let me use this code once. Could not do for second order.

    • use a different email?

    Says expired now.

  • Anyone have any comments (likes/dislikes) re the Focus Dailies Aqua Comfort Plus? Thinking of trying these for the first time.
