Before you activate make sure you get a referral code from a friend already with Belong or the OzBargain Belong pool for an additional $20 credit.
If you've been with Belong before you will have to use a new email in order to get the referral credit again.

Option 1 (4 Months 35GB, requires another $5.00) — Activate on the $25 20GB per month plan, then switch to the $15 5GB per month plan for the remaining months. You should be able to switch straight away once your account is set up & activated. The first 4 months cost is covered ($45 starter pack credit plus $20 referral credit) and data rolls over every month or can be gifted. An additional $5.00 is needed for the 4th month.

Option 2 (2 Months 105GB) — Activate on the $45 100GB per month plan, then switch to the $15 5GB per month plan for the 2nd month. The first 2 months cost is covered ($45 starter pack credit plus $20 referral credit) and data rolls over every month or can be gifted. $5 referral credit will be left over for a 3rd month.

Hack For Existing Belong Customers
Activate the same as above but in a family or friends name & email. Use your referral code to give yourself $20 credit. Make sure you actually use the new sim in a spare phone so you can't be accused of breaching the "Customer Terms". Gift the data to yourself gradually or towards the end.

    No but there's an easy way around it, just activate on a cheap Amaysim 28 day deal then port over.
    Belong sims are valid for 12 months from the purchase date.

  Never pay full price for a Belong SIM, they seem to be on sale pretty much 50% of the time.

  Been with belong for a few years and have flawless mobile reception. Other cheap networks I've had problems where it says I have reception sometimes and it will just hang with web pages not loading etc.

  I think belong is the best cheap network that consistently works well.

  Remember data roles over so you can go with a cheap plan and keep your original data for literally years and top up with a higher plan for a month as you need. I use to be on the $10 plan, but they closed that and forced me to the $15 plan (unsure if new customers can change to $15 plan anymore)

    Belong is good value but a little behind other cheap providers in that it doesn't support VoLTE, VoWiFi or eSIM.
    Other cheap providers have changed, or are changing, to support those technologies.

    I just signed up for the $45 plan and the $15 option is available when I go to change - $15 for 5GB. Does anyone know if I can switch to the $15 right now? I plan to stay on the $15 until all the banked data is used up as this will be a 4G backup on my router

      Yes once you activate the sim you can change to a different plan straight away so it's ready for the next payment date.

    This deal has expired, however, keep checking Coles and Woolworths catalogues as they will likely bring it back every month or two. Officeworks drops their price to match the Coles/Woolworths promotions while they are live.
