Coles Smart Buy 1L UHT milk was on the shelf with tag quick sale at 90 cents each, down from $1.08 or so. Instead it scanned through at 50 cents.

By cows? & placed in heat proof packaging. We drank permiate for years it never killed us!!
True, but with even tighter margins on cheaper milk products these days there's often a large increase in the amount of permeate compared to days of old. It may not add up to the taste or quality that someone has come to expect from full cream UHT milk.

Got a 12 pack!Tags have been removed at Woden so it's advertised as $1.08 but still scans through at 50 cents - got myself another 15. The other Coles brand UHT is now $1 normally so perhaps Smart Buy is being phased out.
