        There's heaps over $300 and upwards of $350.

        There's no way NB shoes are $350 RRP if so thats obsurd.

          A lot of the >$300 models are among NB's most popular and aren't even included in the sale because they're made in the US or UK.

          I agree that it's a lot of money, but some colourways sell out immediately, so NB will keep charging that much if people keep paying.

          I have two pair of the 990v5, which are made in US and retail for $280. Easily the most comfortable and well-made casual sneakers I have ever owned (hence two pairs). Got to think about it in terms of $/wear.

          Modern runner/sneaker prices are insane. $200 is "cheap" for most brands these days. I'm fairly sure it's largely fashion driven, i recently learned some people even "invest" in sneakers, which absolutely boggles my mind.

          Eh, the SC Elite v3 is one of the best running shoes in the world -albeit, only $320 rrp… but, I much prefer the previous model (havent tried these) to the Vaporfly or Alfafly.

          As an aside, the promo code doesnt work for these, but afaik, these have never been cheaper than current price ever before https://www.newbalance.com.au/pd/nyc-marathon-fuel-cell-sc-e… ($250).

                Im actually pretty sad for Randall and cast for it getting axed only a few weeks after release, though i could even tell from the trailer the writing was going to be just cringe AF.

    Lack of Made in US/UK & 550 is annoying, but there are still quite a few decent pairs made in Asia: 2002R, 1906R, 9060, 580.

    The 650 also seems to be excluded, even though it's technically a different model to the 550.

    Had a pair and the pieces of crap fell apart within 1-2 months. Glue on the sides of the toes came apart which made me think they were probably designed to fail fast
