Thought it was chocolate powder, but seems to be just powdered milk?

"Nestle Cappuccino Topping is a free flowing powder formulated for use in vending and automatic dispensing machines. It is a 99% fat free dairy mix that delivers a delicious thick creamy milk froth for café-style cappuccinos and it is also excellent for preparing flat white coffee and white teas."

It's the powder you put on top of your cuppuchino. (Topping).

      • +2

Pretty sure it's not. I'm pretty certain it's powdered milk that can aerate into a froth.

Generally if you go to a cafe and order a cappuccino they sprinkle the top with Chocolate Powder, or maybe cinnamon. From the description I quoted from Nestle's site this appears to be a dairy powder that gets very frothy.

jammy2006 is correct. This is NOT nice powdered chocolate for putting on top of cappucino's. It's a powered milk that froths easily for vending machines. http://www.nestleprofessional.com/australia/en/BrandsAndProd…

        why the negative though?

        • +2

Alright - the deal itself is good for what it is - can't figure out how to remove my neg. I should have just negged all the comments that said it was the chocolate topping. At least one person has bought because of your comments.

          So why neg me back?

      • can you find it cheaper?

if you do, let me know where so i can get OW to cut the price by 5% !!!

      • Can this be used as regular milk powder then? Prefer this in my tea/coffee and they're anywhere from $8 to $12KG in supermarkets.

        • should be fine.

        • Bought it, cheers.

    • Thought it was chocolate powder, but seems to be just powdered milk?

I don't think the fact that you misunderstood what it was really warrants a neg.

  • Worth a try at this price …. thanks OP

  • How many Cappuccinos will it do?

    • -3

      Over 150 easily.

  • Excellent deal if you're of the sugar persuasion.

  • +2

This is only the froth! It isn't the chocolate topping.

  • Thanks OP, ordered one

EDIT: It says: "A team member from your nominated store will contact you via phone when your order is ready to be picked up", but it never asked me for my phone number.

don't worry, each store employs at least one psychic…

      • AAh. thats re-assuring to know !

        • +9

they already knew that you would be reassured…

  • so what kind of a machine do you need to froth this up?

  • this was at my local OW but they were out of date.
