Worms was one of the best games to play with friends sitting next to you. Combining computer games and social gatherings waaaay back when… Love these games.

        Speedball 2

      • Lemmings only had 2 player on Amiga though from memory?

    • Totally. Remember split screen, using two sides of The keyboard to control? Or two joysticks plugged in?

Scorched Earth and Titus the Fox were good ones too :P

        • +1

Scorched Earth, "the mother of all games"

          • @cannedhams: 2d fun haha.
Like the original duke nukem, that was a bit of fun too.

      No.

This DRM-Free version of Worms Revolution Gold Edition features local multiplayer only.

      • Sorry, I realised I’ve been playing worms WMD. This is an older game

    • You probably can if you use something like Hamachi

And who doesn't love DRM-free freebeesworms?

  • +2

    Good old times…

  • +1

I loved worms back in the day Thankyou so much.

As far as local multiplayer, I used to use Hamachi to play lan games over the internet with freinds havent follwed the development of Hamachi for many years but came across this link showing some alternative programs to play lan games over the internet https://beebom.com/hamachi-alternatives/

    • +2

Zerotier all the way. Secure, easy, just works for anything that supports LAN play

      • +3

Vote for ZeroTier as well… So good.

Only network creator needs an account. They create the network and if you leave it private (locked down), they simply need to log into the website to approve new devices joining.

Looks like it can be played on Mac too using Porting Kit. https://www.paulthetall.com/gog-com-version-worms-revolution…
