Daylight Mode + Low Blue Light Night Mode + Red Light Mode - Light Bulbs?

Hello

Can you get some kind of smart bulbs (with an app); or even just a dumb Dual/Triple function bulb; with a special wall switch etc - which can be manually, and or automatically switched between Daylight profile light, Low Blue Light Night Mode; and Red Light Mode - to help keep your Circadian Rhythm healthy?

It's not ideal having just one type of bulb or the other etc….

It would be great to be able to have Daylight mode during the day, switch late afternoon to Low Blue Light Mode, then Red Light at late night (say when you get up briefly while sleeping) - then when the sun comes up switch back to Daylight etc?

The dream scenario would fade between these modes - but I know that's a tall order.

Maybe some of you home automation guru's might know?

Hoping to try this out fairly cheap or for a reasonable price?

Or even if it's too costly for me - I'd just like to know how it could be done.

Thanks for your help

Smart bulbs are going to blow your mind.

  • This is what smart globes do.

I’ve only used Mirabella Genio, and their biorhythm setting is what you’re after. Just make sure you get a globe that has multiple colours and does warm/cool and day.

  • If you want actual daylight white and nightlight red you might be better off with a RGB smartbulb. They have a bigger range of colour such as pure white and red.

For reference I have a "day to dusk" LIFX bulb, and while it managed an orange colour originally after a few updates it can't do orange anymore and only managed a slightly darker yellow.

If I could buy again I would get RGB because red is just easier on the eyes at night.
