lately i feel the important factor is to know the bandwith not just wattage
have so many cables all of them max 480gbps or less, when need TB3 speed all useless

    • when need TB3 speed all useless

These should have TB logo (lightning) and 3 printed on them. Expensive. But it'd be awesome if LED display show speed too :)

    • Most cables like the one in this deal are for charging only - if you need high data rates, you need to seek out specific cables for that purpose 👍

      • Anyone have any recommendations for USB-C data cables?

  • +1

Would this cable charge beyond 100W or is it locked to 100W max?

Also gotta love how "universal" USB-C is - some cables don't have enough wattage, some are charging-only, some are TB3, TB4, but some are USB2 :)

usually they are labled if the cable has any of those features , and price will show it too.

  • I bought the 2 pack in the last deal. I've found they charge most things, like my S21U. But wont charge the Mrs S20FE.

  • usb 2.0 data transfer speed is slow and from the last decade. It should be easy to find a USB 3 or USB 4 for over 10 times the speed nowadays for an extra tenner. No deal for me.

I own the Soopii and Toocki from aliexpress.
both work the same, report accurate wattage
Toocki is on sale 7.21 for 100w & free shipping

  • Got mine today, interesting that some devices charge slower than I thought they would… but maybe it's the cable that's the compatibility issue. shrug

eg. Fold 2 at 50% only shows 14w and I tried both my cheapo Heymix USB C PD charger, as well as the Apple 20w charger.

    • I also found this. I have fast chargers with a different USB C cable and my phone says super fast charging. I use the SOOPI cable, and it wont get above 18w and my phone just says fast charging.

      • +1

I should also add, I have used the SOOPI cable on a USB C powered laptop and that thing also only pulls like 25w max. I dont think these cables are all that crash hot.
