Beko BDF1620X Freestanding Dishwasher $590 Delivered (Was $756) @ Appliances Online eBay

110
SNSDEC

Have recently bought this dishwasher and have to say it cleans much better than the German Bosch I had and is very quiet. I paid a little bit more so this is a pretty good deal. I don't think this would stack with Shopback but you may as well give it a try as some codes may work.

You can also call up Appliances Online and pay an extra $200 after to get it installed. If your old one is disconnected they usually take it away for free.

This model has pretty good reviews and if you register it they give you a 5 year warranty.

  • Is the professional installation for $200 required? Is this not pretty much straight forward / plug and play sort of a thing?

    • The installation is usually just a hole cut and cables run

    • If you already have a machine then it's not really necessary. As long as power point and pipes are ready, it is plug and play. If you are putting it into a brand new place then you might want that installation….even then I doubt they would do plumbing work for you at that price.

If its like the ones AO hired to do my install they will make up a lie and bail at the first sign of anything non-standard in the install. AO was great about it though, fantastic company. Tradies…50/50.

Picked up the beko bdf1410x for $506 delivered with appliances online/ebay/shop back, nice looking unit and gave a good clean, with a 5 year warranty hard to pass up

    • can't find 1410x on their ebay, only 1610x & 1410w (with only 2 yrs warranty)

  • Does anyone know if the top cover can come off this? Our underbench clearance is 820mm, seems like a great unit to try and fit as they dont do an underbench model.

Yes, we took ours off, its only a screw on cover. Not sure if it's the same model, ours is a few years old and going strong. It doesn't have the many features as others, only 4 programs but that's all we need

      • Thanks @bitlined Ordered one yesterday and will be delivered this evening

  • I'm in the middle of fixing my 5 year old Beko for the 3rd time, I don't recommend one, I've also have a Bosch for last 4 years and it has not missed a beat

  • Be wary of Beko. We bought a 10 kg washer. While it washes really well. The firmware is crap is locks up. Both AO and Beko just refer me to the other. So now it's just a weekly restart at the wall and no lockups.

But in the last two months it developed a clang. Which both AO and Beko just tried palming off and citing Covid and end of year.

I got sick of it and tilted the machine up and rocked the hell out of the drum.
Clang was a dampener foot installed backwards. Fixed with a 10mm in 2 min.

So while attractive in price, poor QA and warranty appears to be worthless.

    • Have had our Beko for 3ish years now.
      Has never missed a beat.
      Would highly recommend.

      • The dishwashers seem to be good. Just avoid their fridges and washing machines. Unfortunately each brand has their forte.

        • Our Beko fridge is also amazing.
Think they are made in Turkey
