Razer Blade 15 Worth It for $3161? (Price Matched at JB)

Hi all,

I got JB Hi-FI to price match Razer Blade 15 which brought the price down from an inflated RRP of $5399 to $3161 + $316 JB extended warranty.

I wanted opinion to see if it is worth it to pay this price as this is the lowest the laptop has been. I will mainly be using it attached to two external monitors for work as well as gaming (Dota, CSGO, New World). Would also take it with me when travelling.

I did do research, watched Jarrod's review etc. and I feel like this purchase would be alright. I also considered Razer Blade 14 but the soldered RAM is why i decided to go with the RB 15. Razer QC is an issue that's why getting the JB Extra Care which would eliminate the need to contact Razer Support.

    I clicked as I expected some very expensive razor blades.. will need to save the beard joke for next time..

    The 90/105W TGP is quite low but other than that it looks good. A tad expensive though.

      That's true. Do you think a lower power limit would still be alright to play AAA games at mid - high settings?

        I have a 150/165W 3080 which does quite well at 4K gaming except Portal RTX and the very latest games without DLSS. The GPU in the Razer is very similar to mine but the TGP is quite a noticeable drop. I'd say it'd be OK if you turned down some settings or played at a lower resolution. DLSS is definitely going to be your friend.

        The lack of a numpad would also bother me but you might be OK with it.
