Looking for a Decent Bean Bag

My kmart bean bag is tearing apart so I'm due for an upgrade. Not too expensive, I wouldn't spend >$150 on a bean bag, yet there are so many of them so consumers must really like quality bean bags hey?

After a good quality but price is not an overkill if there is such beanbag. Thought I'd give it a shot asking.

  • ps just doing some googling and I can't believe people would pay for that much!?!

  • Kmart or Target, both have bags and the beans. How old was your kmart bag?

    • yeah but I'm reluctant to go back to Kmart considering its quality

      • Your next option would be ebay.

        • wow jeez there's this brand called Lovesac and theirs are priced in the $700s!

          • @PeeDee: Yep I noticed them while doing my research on bean bags, then I end up not buying one. Material wise denim is the best.

            • @boomramada: Denim would make sense but I don't think that sounds confortable to be in…

          • @PeeDee: …and those Lovesacs are in $US

  • In my most recent house i'm staying in i decided to buy a beanbag, made the mistake of getting a Kmart beanbag, filling it was a nightmare, and it was small and uncomfortable, quickly turfed it.

Then i went to King Kahuna Beanbags in Ascot Vale, the staff were very understanding and explained the different styles and sizes ( they have a whole store filled with different types) and filled a beanbag for me for $150. was a great beanbag and its lasted me 6 months with no issues. If you're anywhere near Melbourne they would definitly be your best bet. they do deliver on their website but you get way better deals instore and idk how far out they can deliver.

    • I wouldn't think bean bags are something you sit on for long hours like office chair so what about issues with sweating? How does that work for expensive bean bags? Cleaning it would be a tedious job so if I'm gonna sit on it to read wouldn't something in $50s be suffice? geddit?

      • Throw a beach towel over the bag and wash that weekly.

        • great idea! thanks

      • The one i have has a removalable inner liner with all the beans in it so you can wash it, haven't needed to so far looks fine, normally just use it to watch a movie or something, so i'm only in it for a couple of hours at a time, but a throw rug would definitly work

  • Been having a look around, thinking of getting one too.

This is on the higher priced side but the material sounds good and can use outside:

Only thing, doesn't look like there's an inner liner.
