XGIMI Mogo Pro +/ Halo

So after a bit if research ive decided that the Xgimi Mojo Pro + was the way to go, i was originally looking at the Nebula's but then after more research I found the Mojo Pro + was the way to go for around that price point.

Now ive looked on here and seen it go for $649 and last week I nearly got one with the 10% off ebay code but it was pulled before I could buy one, that would of bought it down to $675.

I now read on here the Halo went down to $799, so if it did again I'd be tempted to spend an extra $100 on that for the extra brightness.

What's your thoughts on prices for these things, most places have the Mojo Pro + for $748, and the Halo for $999, do you think there would be any chance of getting the Halo for the $799 price again?

I really only want it for evenings outside at night and possibly camping that's why I was thinking the Mojo Pro + would be fine for my needs.

Have halo pro,700lm autofocus version, love it. Internal speakers are great, as good or better than most tvs. Brightness is more than enough at night, but a little light washes out out easily at larger sizes, if you go small such as 40 inch you can get away with a brighter room, 120 your struggling even after sunset until it's dark. Android TV runs great on it, no native Netflix mildly annoying. USB on the back not powerful enough for a Chromecast TV.

  • Yeah originally i looked at the Nebula 3 a while back and that made me decide i want a portable projector, then after alot of research on YouTube the Xgimi Mojo Pro + stood out as the ine to get in that price range, then of course you start looking at the next model up, the only downside to the Halo for me is the extra 0.7kg of extra weight, its the one reason i wanted a portable projector was the size factor, obviously the better you get the heavier and more expensive they are, id honestly be happy with either, and if the Halo could be snapped up again for $799 id be all over it, just waiting in the hope of a decent code.
