  • Looks to be a good deal.
I picked this up for $233 in June 2021 from Supercheap.

    • What's your thoughts on it? I can only see that it gets a bad rap for it's terrible suction power?

      • +2

        I rate it.
Cleaned the fabric car seats and mats in the family station wagon with years of inground dirt easily.
Have used it for vacuuming kids' spew out of household carpets (milk and fried fish last time - don't ask) without a problem.

        • Does it have to be used with the proprietary solution?

          • +1

@inasero: I havent tried using something else in mine but I doubt it would have issues. According to the warranty card it voids fhe warranty though

          • @inasero: I think anything that is liquid-based would be fine TBH, but yes, warranty would be voided.

Awesome. Got a $40 credit from a car battery that dropped in price. Have been looking for spot cleaner for a few months so this might be the deal I go for!

        • Milk and fish, tell us more about it :)

Bought this last year. It’s a blessing especially with kids!

Got this last year for $160 at supercheap. Great product, just need to wear hearing protection while using it.

    • Agree. I wear earmuffs using mine. It is very loud.

  • If you would prefer the turbo version and have access to The Good Guys Commercial its currently $282. You can try price matching in store at the good guys and pay with discounted gift cards for further savings.

    • Definitely go the turbo version as the suction is much better. And it’s really not much more in price.

    • Anyway that I as a random dude can acquire access to GG Commercial?

      • set up an australian retirement truss account, free to make the account and comes with GG commercial

  • Anyone tried it on fabric lounge seats? Results?

    • Fantastic

    • I have used mine on a large faux suede ottoman. It did a pretty good job. I found you have to use it evenly as in full length sweeps.

can i use this for general household cleaning too? would be nice if i could use it both for my car and the apartment

  • Also wondering the same. Hiring large carpet cleaners from bunnings and kennedy do great work but a lot of hassle to pick up and collect.

Other comments here swear by $6 spray bottles for detergent and water and clean using a wet & dry vacuum.

  • I've got the big Proheat 2x Revolution Pet and love it. The upholstery attachment on it would give a similar result to this one in the deal. I bought the bigger unit since we have alot of carpet.

My advice is not to use as much detergent as Bissell recommend. It's way too much. Even half the amount is plenty and you will notice alot of dirt coming out. Even water alone makes a difference.

I've done my fabric couches a few times with them. The reaaaaal tough stains did not come out completely, but were reduced. There is a noticeable difference before and after.

I use a home made concoction most of the time with no problems.

    • What is the home made concoction mate?

  • I have leather perforated seats in the car. My son vomited. I did clean it up but I really need to suck out the gunk from the pores. Do you guys think I should use it on my car leather seats? Any others recommendations?
I have already done my best and cleaned up by using leather love etc.

    • did a quick google, says no.

For small stains and occasional use, would this be more convenient?

  • Can anyone sugggest a liquid formula I can use instead of Bissell's own? Looking for something a bit cheaper if i can buy in a bulk pack maybe

    • I would also like to know this…

I saw people saying to use a fórmula + water with a spray bottle spray and let the Machine spray ONLY hot water and suck everything all together. In this case you case use any fórmula.

Just beware there is a update version with longer hose (written in the box) different part number as well. Got one and both were avaliable in the store.
