Hi, inflation hit us really hard, so we need to save more money.
I noticed that we can use some of gift cards with MCCs 7997 to prepay Membership (clubs, gym, etc)
How do you prepay the membership in Anytime Fitness? Can you do split payment? Eg. Among 11 giftcards? Are you be able to defer your membership if you were sick, overseas holiday, etc?
Let me know your thoughts.
I have managed to save grocery shopping via gift card, I can't do much any further. I haven't asked AF, but by reading some comments, it is possible. However the OzB member who replied that comment is remain inactive. So I figured, write this post, maybe someone else knows better!
Go in and ask.
One staff member may say "sure, no problem", and another might say "nah, can't do it." Can't exactly respond with "but Ozbargainers said….!"

Shop around for other gyms. Might be worth leaving AF for a real saving.
But gym has more than a year contract…I don't think leaving AF will save more money..
Have you approached your local AF to even see if this is possible? Surely it would be easier to save money elsewhere like weekly food shop at colesworths or amazon.
