This is one for the frequent flyers out there.
I’m traveling to New Caledonia with Qantas in May, and would like to use the lounge in Brisbane.
I’ve currently got oneworld sapphire through Qatar/Virgin which has been extended to end of March.
Will I drop to oneworld ruby? Will this entitle me to one complimentary pass?

Yes you will drop down to Ruby and you will then no longer have lounge access
You actually get two complimentary passes "allowing friends and family to join you in the lounge at Hamad International Airport."
You don't need one because you "enjoy lounge access at select airports around the world."
That list of select airport lounge is actually quite decent including lounges in San Francisco, New York, London, Berlin, Paris, Athens, Barcelona (but not Madrid), Doha, Dubai and Salalah but only when "travelling on flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways". There are no such lounges in Noumea nor Brisbane and without a Qatar ticket you wouldn't have access if there were.

tldr; expect no lounge access and limited benefits on your flight but you should be able to check-in at the business counter and possibly select the seat (for free) on your Noumea to Brisbane flight

Fairly sure once you've dropped down you're no longer entitled to lounge access and you won't get any complimentary passes unfortunately.
