    • Escalate it. You'll eventually get to someone with common sense and the power to refund you. I had an expensive product delivered by Amazon to a house on the 'odd' numbered side of the street, about 50m away. I was home, got notification that it had been delivered but couldn't find it anywhere. Just as I was writing a message to them the woman form the 'wrong' house knocked at the door and handed over my box. Their contractors vary between excellent and incompetent ime.

  • Picked up two, thank you.

  • Just received it, expiry date is Jan 2024, thanks

  • Any scienticians here able to elucidate on nasal vs. oral tests? Is either one better than the other? Any 'gotchas' etc?

    • Not a medical scientist but done correctly early indicators suggest oral may be slightly more reliable for Omicron, depending on when you test. Getting very high sensitivity RATs is a good start (see ARTG listings). Alternatively get a pack of each type.

RAT's are NOT definitive as we all know so if it's important (contact with compromised people etc) and you have symptoms get a PCR and of course sanitize, wear masks etc.

  • From NSW health - Page 4 - Go figure . ( even if it makes 1 person think a little more deeper into it , (then it was worth the post )

    • We've already dealt with that. What in particular did your "deep thinking" reveal, and what don't you understand? I can hazard an educated guess based on this post, and this, and this - quote: "the stupid thing is they bought tonnes of vaccines before any variant was even around so the jabs have zero effect on new "variants" " (as far as opinionated ignorance goes, that's in a special category of its own), but best you explain in your own words.

      • Glad you figured it out then

        • Yes it was simple enough to work out both your lack of understanding of covid issues and your erroneous assumption of those stats. Another ignoramus beat you to the gun I'm afraid and like you he didn't understand elementary statistics either. If you need help I recommend setting aside some time for r-e-a-d-i-n-g. Any idea why a cure for the common cold is the/a holy grail?
