Yep my experience as well. Loved the art, the gameplay is great and the narrator is amazing but god damn did it frustrate me to no end. Ended up giving up.
Same feels, I really wanted to like it because of the amazing artwork and RPG elements but the stress system was too much, I'd feel like I was winning until my characters would just suddenly lose all their health or turn on their team mates due to the stress system.

PSA this comes bundled with the PS Vita version as well for the three people still playing theirs
I found this game to be really well made and I enjoyed the art style, but damn, it was tough.
