Amazon Prime cancellation - any offers to re-subscribe

Hi,
I just wondered if anyone has experience with Amazon offering any "incentives" for people to re-subscribe if their prime membership lapses (as Ebay Plus often does)?

    It's already pretty cheap considering what you get with it, especially compared to what it cost in some other countries. One day it'll cost a lot more here too.

    I thought I read a comment somewhere that they were offered another free trial of Prime after a period of inactivity. Can't seem to find the post now 😑

      I have had four 'one month free' memberships
      Nov 2018, Dec 2019, Nov 2020 & Aug 2022
      I've paid for a month twice in order to get large HDD's from US & UK
      I don't use amazon all that often
      .

    There's no need to incentivise Prime subscriptions, unlike eBay Plus.

    I had got one year free with AGL nbn last year, obviously cancelled nbn after first month!
    Also the Mastercard offers for 3 months

    Edit: nothing by Amazon directly for resubscribing

    Not sure if you are month by month like me OP (I subscribe less than 6 months in a year), but if you are I can confirm they will offer you additional free trials. They will also have promo's for "returning customers" like the 10PRIME code deal I posted. To qualify you needed to be unsubscribed to begin with and the terms and conditions read to me like it was targeted at returning customers.

    Returning customers who were eligible for another free trial also confirmed in comments they were able to start their free trial and claim the 10PRIME promo.

    I have gone through around 4 or 5 free trials so far, single account done nothing dodgy.
    But it might depend on how much you spend total or how much time elapsed between orders of certain amounts or something like that. I also remember starting one of the free trials to get free international shipping on 1 item last year, that order never arrived and I complained. That also might have something to do with it (Amazon fail).

    I don't think they feel the need to offer incentives when everyone already has Prime

      I didn't until a month ago, and I'm not convinced it's worth it.

    I had free 12 months Prime through Optus which ended in Dec'22, was getting GC deal today and noticed they're offering me a 1 month free trial.
