postage kills it fair a bit - sorry

    • Thanks for the vote, understand on postage. Looking for cheaper options, but not finding anything in our freight volume.

      • Interparcel any good for you? Usually offer pretty competitive rates

        • Will check them out thanks! If anyone is interested in a trailer, but struggling with the freight price, I'm more than happy to hunt for a competitive rate for your exact postcode. Its amazing how different the quotes can be from postcode to postcode.

  • Is the seat removable? I've been thinking these provide a decent amount of storage.

The 'seat' is similar to slung beach chair, it doesn't really take up any room as such, it just splits the space and provides the kids harness. You could easily unloop it from the top of the frame, so the seat upper would lay flat, but you don't really gain any room, it's basically the same space without a divider.

I bought a second hand one ($50 IIRC) a few months ago, not this brand but similar config, not for kids but for storage - for camping along some cycling rail trails. The seats are cloth and low, sorta perfect for chucking in a bunch of stuff. It fit 2x 70L backpacks plus extra room. Lugging the weight esp. uphill is something to consider.

  • Honestly it's quite tempting.

The trailer has suspension, which not many around that price do. Even with high shipping, it still is decent priced

    • Thank you PCHammond. The suspension is fairly simple, but it would make it smoother on rough terrain. I've done quite a lot of rail trail with my daughter in a trailer without suspension and you do feel the bumps, as did she. Any thing to help this would be of large benefit. we ended up with wider tyres at lower pressure, which helped a heap.

      • I'm legit thinking about going for this, but need to sleep on it or else the wife will kill me

  • So how big is it actually? Can it genuinely fit two kids, up to what kind of age?

    • My 8 and 6 year old got into one this afternoon to test. They 'fit', but like sardines. Really I'd say up to two 4/5 year olds would max it out weight wise anyway. I can get some real world measurements tomorrow if you wish?

  • Compatible with Thru-Axle bikes?

    • Not out of the box sorry. We have had to be creative to make trailers work with through axles. Easiest and most economical solution we have found is using an extra long trainer QR axle through the whole thru axle. Obviously only works its hollow. Otherwise, we use Robert axle project.

  • Greetings to Toowoomba where I started my Australia journey.

  • Hey rep,

Can you measure the seat height (from bum to roof) and seat width please.

Cannot find measurements or instructions on your site.

    Many thanks.
