We have been looking for a tent for our up coming camping trip to fit all the kids etc and not woken by the awesome 4.30am sun here in WA.
This hopefully does the job.
For the price I believe this is one of the better instant up tents, we grabbed some extra tent pegs as we read the included ones are lacking (either not enough or too weak)

I bought it yesterday at Anaconda Joondalup on their price guarantee, the staff member almost did not accept the request to reduce the price (even though it was in big writing covering half the wall behind her)

Plenty of stock in the Joondalup store.

Must be in store to get the price match, but she did not ask for my membership in the end, it's free to sign up incase they ask.

  Thanks OP. I've been a part-time tent nomad since early Dec (divorce fraud long story). Currently in an AirBnb, but have been using a non-blackout Aldi 6man tent and my 4yo just won't sleep. Can confirm that maybe 20% of tents at a major Gold Coast campsite were this model through Dec and most reviews place this at the top of the stack. Time for an upgrade!

  Thanks OP, I as well have been holding off and was gutted when I missed out on this during the ebay sales not long ago (came down to about the same price). Was about to bite the bullet and just get it at 699. Then this came up on my OZB alerts and was cheering. Just got one from Anaconda at Rockdale NSW. They were good about it and price beat it with no hassle at all. I was so chuffed that I left and forgot about the ground mesh for the tent lol. Ill C&C and get it again soon. Cheers

  Every single thing I've ever bought of Anaconda, they cancelled my order, returned my money, there's no option to use a credit card, only option that worked for me was Zip, when the money is returned to zip they keep it as a credit as I immediately paid it off … and the only way short of a sh!t fight with them is to buy something using zip … totally pathetic!

  I tried to price beat this at Anaconda Chatswood today. They offered to match the Mac Pac price ($599). When I mentioned their 10% price beat policy should mean 10% less than Mac Pac, I was told two different things:
  1) It is UP TO 10% off
  2) It is 10% off the Anaconda price, not the competitor price

  So yeah…. the 10% Price Beat Policy means price match.

  What a waste of time… will never shop there again.

    I bought the tent at Chatswood anaconda this morning, around 9am. After I confirmed they'd price match and then brought the tent to the counter, he initially put in it in at 599, so I said " shouldn't it be 10% off?", and he then did it at 539. Maybe they then decided they didn't want to do any more that cheap…

  I tried at 4 stores before I got the price beat. 1 said they would only match as it was a member price, 1 said they wouldn’t do it as there was no stock at macpac (there was), 1 said no because it was an old model at macpac and the forth said yes after asking the manager but then said it wasn’t something they’d usually do. 👀

  Price matched to $539.10 with no problems at Anaconda Rockingham. Plenty of stock, although the store was so cluttered it was hard to get to.
