First post so sorry for any errors, will try to fix. Saw this price last night, by far the best that I’ve seen personally, 3rd party seller (BuyMobile) has 92.9%.

Mod: Users received the wired, not the wireless version, due to a listing error. Moved to forums. Discussion.

Thinking that this might be a listing error. The wired, not wireless version is $149.95 on their website.

Hmm now that I think about it, Catch seem to have this listing problem quite often.

I remember an issue (from a deal posted on OzBargain) about inflatable kayaks where they were selling the 2-seater for the same lower price as the 1-seater. I think Catch cancelled the orders? (Sorry I can't remember if it was a third party, as I hadn't ordered one myself.)

I also personally experienced something similar where I bought a bike computer bundle (with heart rate monitor, speed sensor and cadence sensor) for the price of just the bike computer itself. Catch honoured that deal.

Ordered, lets see how it goes

Welp, ordered. Lets see how this goes

  • any recommendations for a wireless headset like this that also has bluetooth that can double as gaming headset as well as taking phonecalls?

    • The new Logitech g435 look alright, competitively priced and review pretty decently

      • Hmm wish they had a mic arm rather than a integrated mic. Reviews aren't great for phone calls. Thank you for the recommendation though.

The Logitech G435 are mediocre for phone calls. They have an integrated mic that can capture your voice clearly. However, the mic struggles to separate your voice from moderate ambient noise, so it may be harder for the person on the other end of the line to hear you clearly if you're calling from a moderately noisy environment like a busy street. The headphones also don't block out much ambient sound, so it could be harder to hear your phone call well.

        • I have one of these and for gaming or watching tv, they are ok, but you're right, they don't block any outside noise. They are also on the small side and are the only headphones I own that have to be fully extended to fit my head. On the plus side, they are super light.

  • You've got an incorrect link - it sends to the buymobile page.

    Correct link is here.

Edit: Looks like it's been corrected.

Ahh, definitely a little more worried now

Ordered and returned to Amazon last year. Wireless version has a very obvious background noise when battery turns on. If you are very sensitive to background noise I will suggest to avoid this one. Not sure how alpha wireless goes.

    • All HyperX Wireless Gaming Headsets do this, I don't know why. I've bought every single one and returned them all. I think they use the exact same transceivers. Currently using GSP 370 and they don't have this audible hiss/white noise.

      • Wt a petty!
I am current using G Pro wired version. Previous one is G933. All doing good jobs!

  • How does this compare with the Steel Series Arctis 1 - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/steelseries-arctis-1-gami… $119

  • Lol, tried to cancel and they say they have a $49 admin fee and use this

Even though there is no speak of canceling before shipping that I can read?

Got a left warehouse Alert.. let’s see!

Got a call.. they shipped the wired version and offered $20 credit..

      • +2

        Yup same here.

      • Same for me, just received a message via their system - $20 discount to keep it or return the product

      • Same here. I will open a dispute directly with Catch for false advertising and demand them to honour the price. It has become an sport for Catch sellers to play tricks on consumers by falsely advertising products and not delivering them

      • Yeah same with me - why the heck would they knowingly ship the WRONG product first before offering the $20 discount.

        $160 - $20 = $140

I can get the wired version for $120 on Amazon with free shipping.

I'm going to ask for a $50 refund to make it worth my time.

Hmm no call or message about my one - it’s in Perth so hopefully delivered tomorrow- fingers crossed

  • Showed up as the wired version today. Let’s see how catch is gonna handle this.
