Hi guys do you know of any gift card working to purchase goods on Amazon AU ?
Just tried to add AustraliaPost giftcard and it's refused - what a useless card.
Any other working giftcard? cheers

The Australia Post Gift Card is a prepaid Mastercard, it looks like you just need to enter the card details as a payment method when checking out, not as a 'gift card'.
The instructions here are fairly straightforward.
I havent added it as an Amazon gift card - which it is not lol.
It does not work as a payment method when entering the details
So what errors are you seeing then?
Asking a generic question without detail (like adding in a later comment that you intend to use it with any retailer) and calling it a 'useless' card isn't going to give you useful answers.

You could try adding the Prepaid MasterCard as a payment method on something like Shopback and buy Amazon Gift Cards from there, you will also get 2% off that way. Other options here.
Just use the Australia Post card to buy a (physical) Amazon Gift Card - then input the Amazon Gift Card into your account.
Your original post was a bit confusing, but through the replies, I see that you tried to use the Australia Post card as a 'credit card' payment type, which was refused. Your post originally reads as you using the Australia Post gift card in place of an Amazon GC.
Amazon and a lot of other merchants protect themselves from prepaid Visa/Mastercard debit/credit cards. As they're heavily used for abuse.
