Laptop Advice - HP R5 5625U vs Intel NUC i7-1165G7

Currently considering similarly priced units as follows..

HP 15.6" AMD Ryzen 5 5625U Laptop 512GB/16GB,

Versus

Intel NUC M15 EVO 15.6in FHD Touch i7-1165G7 512GB SSD 16GB

As far as I can see the Ryzen has slight edge in terms of processing. NUC has Thunderbolt 4 and touchscreen.

Which would you suggest is the better machine for general use - simple office work and light gaming?

What price are you looking at for the NUC? Bing Lee has the i7 12th gen version for $1200 here (possibly less, I'm getting $1140 with code OFFTOP5 but not sure if eBay plus only):
