Where Can I Buy Fender Liner for a Hyundai Accent?

Last night I hit a small animal (I don't know if it was a bush rat or possum, it scurried across pretty quick), unfortunately it damaged my fender liner and had to zip tie it back to the car body to make it home. Where can I order a Fender Liner online for a Hyundai Accent 2016 5 door hatch? And the fender push pins to attach it (Ebay seems to have them, is that fine to use?).

Sadly there's a pretty big hole in the fender liner where it must have rubbed across the tyre, I had to push it back in several times on the way home before I gave up and rang home for someone to bring zip ties and scissors to tie it to the body.

If I can't order the parts online I'll just have to take it to a mechanic, but I thought I'd replace it myself since it's a easy part to change out yourself.

  • Look around car wreckers for parts for cheapest option.

See if you can find the parts on eBay for middle of the road option.

Get Hyundai dealer to do it for most expensive but hassle-free option (but don't).

Sometimes the OEM is actually cheap for these things. Definitely worth a phone call to find out.

      • Agree. I've found some Ford OEM parts were lower cost than the same part number on eBay.

  • Give Hyundai a call?

If you want to do it on the cheap, go have a look at wreckers with Hyundai cars. Accents were pretty popular so there should be quite a few "bodies" around.

    Fender

    Please not another Americanism.

    • so it's not a guitar then
      .

      • I prefer using a Gibson from my Hyundai Accent

    • Sorry, I didn't know what the part was actually called until I blind googled "wheel arch/well guard" or something.

I am not a big car person.

What do we call it here?

You can try to weld it back. Ask dealer for spare parts or look for after market such as this

    or

    • No welding that one back, it's shredded from where it must have rubbed against the tyre, there's a hole in the center where I can see inside the bonnet/engine bay.

  • Hyundai first, then wreckers. It’s. It the sort of part that spare parts places hold as it’s not common to replace them.
