Was browsing for Xbox Game Pass deals and found Gamivo to be the cheapest atm.

You will need to add a month of Game Pass Ultimate to complete the conversion from Xbox Game Pass Gold to Ultimate. Usually $15.95 for expired accounts or $1 for new accounts.

Basic Steps

Buy Code.
Connect VPN.
Apply code to account.
Disconnect VPN.
Add 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate.

Seems clear as mud to me still. Can I confirm the following is "the way"

Buy codes from Turkish site

Connect VPN to Turkey and login to Xbox account to redeem codes

Disconnect VPN.

Login to Microsoft store, do something that converts gold to ultimate.

End up with 37 months of ultimate.

It's that Microsoft step that I'm unclear on. What needs to happen to trigger that conversion?

Does the conversion from gold to Ultimate always work? Just that some say turning on recurring billing is not triggering a month free (doesnt work for me when I last did it)

  The conversion to Ultimate always works, given you followed the instructions correctly and have your MS account region always set to Australia.
  The recurring billing trick works for some people and not for others, no idea what makes it work - note you do not need this if you are claiming 3x12 months.

I keep getting error: GeoRestrcited.

I have changed microsoft account region to Turkey, using VPN, even the redemption box says country (Turkiye), but still getting this error?

  What VPN are you using? I tried with NordVPN and despite selecting Turkey it was putting me in Brazil. I used the free Windscribe and it worked first go.

  My redemption box says (Australia) but I was connected to a Turkey VPN. Just make sure you do a Google search "what is my IP" and click on the first link to see if it is geographically placing you in Turkey. That's the only step that matters. Your account region still needs to be Australia.

I purchased 36 month xbox live codes from turkey, was able to redeem them but when I tried purchasing 1 month of game pass got the error saying "Change your Microsoft Store region
You currently have a subscription from a different region. If it still doesn't work, please contact customer support."

I didn't change my account region when using Turkey vpn to redeem the code. It was set to Australia the whole time, not sure what I did wrong.

Firstly, I've used this trick previously. My 12 months expired, I was hoping to get another 12 months.

I have purchased the Turkey code and successfully added the 12-months Xbox Live Gold to my AU account.

When I try to "upgrade to Xbox Game Pass" I get the new error message: "Change your Microsoft Account region. You currently have a subscription from a different region. If it still doesn't work contact customer support."

Game over? :)

Iv tried surfshark, nordvpn, nordvpn obfuscated servers and windscribe but I always get the incorrect region error when trying to claim the key. Using the gamivo TR key. Any help?

  Seems Microsoft are getting more aggressive in their VPN detection. Try UrbanVPN, this was reported to work for some very recently.

    It's alright I ended up loading them on my kids account. He wanted his own Game Pass Ultimate because he can't use cloud gaming without being the account holder. I will just do mine next month with another 3 codes.

Worked for me Xbox Live Gold Subscription expires on August 11, 2024 but when you try upgrade to Ultimate it short changes you 5 months - new renewal 28/04/24

Yeah its the new 3:2 ratio.. so for every 3 months of gold, you will only convert to 2 month of ultimate. Might need a description update.

Used G2A codes (before I saw this deal) and they were $28.85 USD for a year.
Paid $135.67 AUD for 36 Months of Xbox Live Gold and then $17~ to upgrade to Ultimate, so $152 in total for 25 Months of Xbox Live Gold.
I received my G2A codes 30 seconds after completing the payment. Not sure on Eneba's speed.

1. Obtain Turkey Xbox Live Gold subscriptions

Use links in OP or this post. Or go looking for your own.
You can only stack 3 years at a time. Xbox Live Gold converts to Xbox Ultimate at 3:2, so 3 years of Gold = 2 years of Ultimate.

2. Fly to Turkey (or the next best thing)

UrbanVPN worked fine - was a little bit slow, but can't complain about speeds with a free VPN

3. Redeem the codes

Once connected to the VPN, go to https://redeem.microsoft.com/?wa=wsignin1.0 and redeem your three years of Xbox Gold.
The keys I got from G2A worked fine and I redeemed them all in 2 minutes.

Once redeemed, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and confirm you have 36 months of Live. Mine looked like this

4. Fly back to Australia (turn off VPN)

Go to the Microsoft Store and search Game Pass, use the Xbox app or if you've been subscribed before, click the "Resubscribe" button in the Services screen.
Sign up to Game Pass for whatever the price is. It'll be between $1 and $18.95. Unfortunately I had the latter.
If it's $1 - $16, pay it and you'll be upgraded to Game Pass Ultimate for 25 months. My sub now ends on the 30th of September 2025

If it's $18.95 you can go to CDKeys and pay $16.09 or back to G2A and pay $17.29 for a key. I used the latter as G2A was already delivering quickly and at the time I didn't bother to look around for cheaper keys.
Redeem that in the same redeem link above without the VPN on.
