I am really keen on getting Sony ht a9 with Sony SW5,

Apart form 8% ShopBack, is there any other way I can score discount?

  Hi @Rider yes I did. Was able to get box damaged deal from Sony eBay store. Unit has been amazing in my Home theatre room. I highly recommend it. There is new model out now I believe.

Good on you. How much did you pay? I am really keen but HT-A9 is not available anymore and HT-A9M2 is over $3k which is outside my budget. I might have to settle in for an old lame soundbar. Do you have any issues with no centre channel?

  Thanks mate it’s a cool unit and so easy to setup and use. I don’t think I have ever seen it being sold anywhere second hand too. Keep an eye out for box damaged sale for newer model.
  I think from memory I got HT A9 unit and sasw 5 sub for $2200.
  I don’t find any issues with no centre channel.
