  • A affordable Royal Oak, nice!

plastic quartz? I would rather 2 x swatch or a casioak for that money

    Nice design but
    Strap Black - plastic
    Bezel Black - plastic
    Caseback - plastic

Just using a fancy word 'polycarbonate' to deceive people.

    $220?! Meh

    • Polycarbonate is more flexible than ABS/acrylic and has higher impact and temperature resistance (also fire retardant). It's generally a lot more expensive than other polymers. Stainless steel is also cheap, so what's the issue?

  • I am a big fan of PerKiwi D2Torino Polycarbonate Sunrise Light Mens Automatic Watch.

  • should have the "Was $$$" in the title.

This seems like a bad deal when you can get Casio Edifier EFR-S108D for ~$150 which is a silver metal version of this with a sapphire crystal.

As a watch collector myself - these watches are profiting off the hard work of watch designers, world recognized time pieces and staple investment pieces.
**** this or if I see you out in the public, I will personally take it off and throw it into a jet engine

Why wouldn’t you just get a Casioak ga2100?

  • If you're desperate to have a cheaper alternative watch that has similar design to a AP royal oak or Patek Nautilus, go for something like a Tissot PRX or casioak - it won't have anywhere near the same level of finishing/movement/history but at least it looks good and has a reasonable level of quality and brand history.

TBH you'd at least get something made entirely of stainless steel with higher quality off aliexpress compared to this.

  • I saw a youtube review on this watch, and the reviewer seemed to imply that it was metal coated in polycarbonate plastic "for a soft touch".

Is it? Or is it just a plastic watch?

    • reads on their website as plastic coated with a soft touch.
I doubt it's metal and coated with plastic; would not have made much sense..
      a pass for me

      • Yeah not interested either.
Just thought a plastic watch for $200 doesn't make sense, so some people might be wrong thinking it is "all plastic".
