Made in China. I think you can find things like that in Aldi for a similar price or Tefal made in France for less than the “rrp” price.

Imagine comparing OXO to Aldi crap

      • +3

Wait until someone makes comparison with a Kmart one.

        • Why not?

I have more confidence in something made in Europe. Why would they make it in China using “German technology coating” like Aldi ones?

P.S. Just looked at my Aldi pan with a coating called Quantanium that without fluor and abrasion resistant. Well made, with metal handle and has 5 year warranty. I am happy with that for what I paid for it.

my aldi non stick is insane. Two years three meals a day workhorse, never skipping a bit, just use silicone utensils

          • +2

@Hasbulla: Three meals per day for two years from a frypan is indeed insane…

            • @UncleRico: my previous one was a scanpan which i drove into the ground

Let me help you out - pro style pans ALDI sold last time are ready better than anything OXO makes, especially considering the terrible feel of the OXO silicone and the gunk it becomes relatively quickly. Don't be slave to brands.

BIRTHDAY10 got me a little extra off. Just made a fresh account so not sure if that makes any difference.

  • are these good for steaks?

    • +1

Nah, I’d prefer to use cast iron or carbon steel for steak. Or even better, grill.

  • I can't see where it says what size they are. Are they the same as these ones?
