Nixon are basic quartz fashion watches. The "Was" price of $699.99 is insane!!!!
For this kind of money or less you could buy a watch from a reputable watch making brand like Citizen with an Eco-Drive movement (solar).
Starbuy Deal of The Day - Citizen Auto NJ0160-87X $189.00 delivered.

I didn't neg last time but the Rep mustn't have got the hint.

agreed, would take citizen any day of the week over a 'fashion' brand.

This 200M Bulova Marine Star Chrono is heaps better too - $249.00 delivered.

        • marine star

I will never not click on a bulova starbuy link then go look at the 97B168 for the 69,420th time this year - so nice..but so impractical for me :(

Agreed! There are better value watches posted by WatchNerd. Even the invicta offers better automatic watches for 1/3rd the price. I paid somewhere 350ish for Seiko Cotura solar, id have that instead thanks.

Specs are lousy for the price.

Cheaper on eBay with eBay plus. AU $341.99 after coupon.

Largely silent reps who post bad deals.

Quite a price given the specs and premium for "Grateful Dead" branding. Still if you're a fanboy, it is close to the cheapest price. If you're after a watch, there are much better options.

for that money at least we get sapphire glass…o wait nvm

Given that the Wayback machine was effectively founded to honour the Grateful Dead's insistence that while their record companies owned the pressings they made, the music, once played, was free, the idea of some shyster utilising their name to sell a $5 Citizen movement with a 14,095 % mark-up may not play well with their fans.

Is there a stage somewhere where we could discuss your taking their name out of your mouth?

    • the Wayback machine was effectively founded to honour the Grateful Dead's insistence

      Wait, what?
[not disagreeing with your general point]
