Had smeg and aeg, aeg much better.
AEG, Bosch, etc just to name a few.
Even the Ikea ones rate well and value for money!
Very unhappy with the quality of my Smeg oven/cooktop. Wouldn't buy Smeg again..
Why should anyone pay this vs a $500-700 cooktop from IKEA?
Specs look the same, except Smeg has less than half the warranty.And a very high likelihood you will be calling upon your Smeg warranty.
Last I checked, Ikea appliances are made in Italy by Whirlpool, BTW. Same place as Smegma, I think?
Bought a similar model with a pyro oven… (don't know why at the time)
Had some problems with the oven - DOA, but then accidentally cracked the cooktop.
Smeg CS is the reason these are great, techs came out on both occasions and fixed both issues no charge…
I consider the products similar to apple. For lazy people that want to get good after market service and peace of mind.
Mind you - Miele would be better, there are some great deals at factory outlets occasionally!
Smeg is similar to Smegma for a reason. It is pretty much the quality of their products.
