Any Experiences with FragranceX or Fragrancenet?

Good day!

I am looking for a cheaper alternative than "Myer". Prices are simply ridiculous there. I found FragranceX and Fragrancenet. Both pages have quite good prices and are my favourites in stock. I like the Lattafa's and Al Harramain's, which are both not that easy to get here! ;-).

Just wanted to hear if you have already ordered at FragranceX or Fragrancenet. Unfortunately, the reviews could have been better, but I heard about mixed experiences. Some friends ordered there already, but they are no real experts when it comes to determine if a fragrance is fake or not, I would say. I sometimes read about fake or not happened deliveries. Just wanted to double-check before I place my order or even not. ;-). Well we all know, never rely on ratings, but rely on experiences of real bargainers! :)

      Even Amazon has 1.7/5.0 in average. Never made bad experiences with Amazon. Looking more for „real“ feedback here. :)

    I did use fragrance X and fragrancenet some years ago, the products were legit from what I could tell.

    more recently I've had some cheap prices at chemist warehouse now and then which is a safer bet ,.. perhaps.

    I've bought from FragranceX a few times for fragrances not sold locally. No issues with quality. Probably grey market, like Chemist Warehouse.

    Just had a quick browse on some of the more popular fragrances. Prices looks expensive. Amazon or Chemist Warehouse could be cheaper.

    Had a family member that owned a perfume store and would import from FragranceX through a wholesale account with them. They are definitely legit and have a decent range of products perfumes that are typically hard to find in Aus.

    Myer and other premium retailers are a complete rip off when it comes to perfume.

    Lesson in life - ask yourself why you're looking for a second opinion.

    If it's because you have valid reason to doubt the first opinion, then fine.
    If it's because you want the first opinion to be wrong and have someone to blame when you ignore the original advice, then probably stop what you're doing.

    I use fragrancex and I have had no issues so far. but the thing is sometimes chemist warehouse is cheaper especially if you get cashback through some credit cards or get a sitewide discount.
