  • You can head to MSY (www.msy.com.au)

    2G DDR2 module for 28$
    Can't find 4G module

—> the price quite reasonable for now :)

Just let you know that 2 years ago. I bought 4G Kingston RAM (2x2 module) for the PRICE 120$

i think he means his crappy laptop has 1 slot

    he needs 1 x 4Gb ddr2 module

    staticice says $70+ each

    tough luck

Yeah. I mean his Laptop. He already got 1 module 2G DRR2 in it.

Now I suggest just buy 1 more module(stick) 2G DDR2 with 28$ then you have 4G in total.

You don't actually need 1 more 4G cause your 6G Ram would be redundant :)

  • mymemory.co.uk has great variety and reasonable to great prices if you are willing to wait for it (shipping times have been pretty good tho from memory)

    • ha, scratch that, looks like they aren't offering much variety anymore

      • If it has an SD Card Slot and your planning to run windows 7 how about a 4gb SD Card dedicated to ReadyBoost so it gets used as ram?

        • Isn't readyboost only used as a pagefile or swap partition of sorts?

I remember it being of dubious benefit in Windows Fista, hopefully the Win7 iteration is better. :)

        • 2gb is generally ok for Win7 duties

as long as you're not trying to design the next space shuttle on it

try readyboost first… it might be ok

otherwise spend the money on the 4Gb module

    • ok
