@HolyCr4p: Indeed! Just also to make ya keep an eye on the colour. If its clear, great! If its yellow..let it mellow..and if its red..well time to go get it checked out. Health is wealth!
Yes. I have the black dial skeleton GA2100SKE-7A and can confirm that the clear bands turn yellowish over time. I've been thinking about trying the retrobright technique to try to remove the yellow, AFAIK no one else has tried that yet though.
Also FWIW the two linked watches are marketed as women's watches, and I believe they are smaller than the traditional GA2100s.
I have a small 6.5" wrist and from the photos I've seen, this will scale nicely with that vs a normal GA2100.
@Vavoom: G-shock has the same sized premium metal case/resin band model in more normal colours, but they cost more and don't have the sub dial.

Will it still be waterproof after the mod?
@DontNeedThis: No reason why it wouldn't be. The actual time piece is just covered by a resin "cover" in an original Casio. That's how they stay protected. The mod just slides over the naked time piece once the original cover is removed. Check out the YouTube and you'll see what I mean.
@Vavoom: For anyone still reading this or who will be reading this (hello future person! How's the weather? Do we have flying cars yet?) I just did this mod. Ordered the hontao band from Amazon and followed the video I posted a few comments up.
Installation was dead easy, all tools provided. One note is that it is heavy. There is a lot of metal hanging off your wrist. Gives it a very premium feel, not that it doesn't look super clean anyway. I can't fault the machining.

yes. for me, it happened within a few months. was very slight at first but after a year, it's more noticeable. not terrible though but just keep that in mind. and this was after washing it every day and keeping it out of the sun as much as possible.
i'm still wearing it. will probably swap out the straps for something else when it gets too yellow

Size dictates for a good fit, and ladies wear smaller watches anyway usually.
